Our YJS worker is part of Croydon Youth Justice Service and is also based in Saffron Valley Collegiate three days a week. They work with young people who may be open to the YJS on different Orders, or who may be on bail. However, the most important part of their work at Saffron Valley is preventative, as they support pupils who may be at the earliest stages of exploitation or criminality, or who are being impacted as a victim of crime.  Our YJS Worker leads group work and one to one sessions within SVC with students to educate them on the law, their rights, stop and search and any other questions they may have.
