Referrals to Springboard can be made by Schools  and medical professionals working with the child with short term or long term medical needs. Schools will need to provide medical evidence that has been authorised by a consultant or by a psychologist.

If young people are on a waiting list for CAMHS, applications will be considered.

Referrals may be made to the Fair Access panel for consideration by the Headteacher.

Any pupil with an EHCP who is not accessing their mainstream school should be referred back to the SEND department.

If the provision detects undiagnosed SEND, they will support the school to put in place the correct interventions, including supporting their application for an EHCP and this service will be offered as an intervention place if we have capacity and all referrers will enter into a SLA with Springboard SVC.
